Description:
Mid-century Modern Jardinieres by Willy Guhl (Swiss, 1915-2004) This distinctive pair of sculptural planters are perfect for a Mid Century Modern Home. The sleek conical shape was the creation of Willy Guhl the Swiss Designer who was known for his avant-garde and neo-functional designs. Originally found in France this stellar pair of Jardinieres would be right at home with the Jetsons. They're made of a cement and fiber mix, with each piece having a number cast in the inside of the bowl. The condition is very good with only a few chips appearing around the base. The painted white finish appears to be old and may even be original. SOLD AS A PAIR ONLY
