Description: This pair of Victorian majolica pottery vases are of a pheasant woman and man standing by tree trunks. Size of each vase is 12" tall, 5-1/2" long and 4" wide. The large matching pair of vases are being sold in "as is" condition because of the base repair and neck repair of woman vase. The man vase has an old chip on the rim and a repair around the boot area. Repairs are not uncommon on figural majolica vases of this size. Probably made in Germany with impressed four digit number on base. No maker's markings. This pair of vases were bought in an Midwestern antique store about 15 years ago.
