Pair: Large Chinese Green Glazed Ceramic Vases, 20th C.
Description: Pair: Large Chinese Two-Handled Song Style Green Crackle Glazed Ceramic Vases, Early-Mid 20th C. China. The flattened baluster shaped vases feature two elephant head handles and embossed reserves of figures on either side. The bases are marked/stamped with red: "CHINA" mark. Price Comparison: $800-1200 in Fine Art & Antiques Gallery. Dimensions: Each: 14-1/8" and 14-3/8" High, 8" Wide, 3-3/4" Deep. Total Weight: 11 lbs. Condition: One vase is slightly taller than the other. The base of the trunk on one of the two elephant head handles on each vase has been broken off and re-glued. There are a number of glaze imperfections to the surfaces of each piece. There is some dirt/grime and glue residue to the surface and interior of each piece. Otherwise, the vases are in good condition.
