Description: Pair of Gilt and Painted Cast Iron Lamps w/Parchment Shades-1920's A Pair of French Painted Cast Iron, 2 light Lamps with Parchment (Leather) Shades – Good Condition –Shades need slight restoration- French Electrification-Circa 1920. This wonderful pair of small table lamps from France are of cast iron. They have been painted a rust brown with highlights of gilding on the extending s-scroll arms of acanthus leaves. The candle cups have small symetrical gilded dots around the periphery. There is an open worked spiral globe in the center. The shades are leather parchment (rare to find) and give the surrounding area a beautiful glow. Height with Shades=13 1/2, Width with Shades=17 1/2. Please contact us for more photos or information.
