Description: This pair of beautiful original boudoir lamps date back to the 1920's. Electricity was still rare in most homes of that time, unless you lived in a large city. These are (I would say) classically styled, maybe even a hint of "Art Nuvo" in the overall design of these boudoir lamps. The condition is original, I believe the cords have been replaced once some time in the 1940's or maybe more recent... no matter, one can always find some cloth insulated cord (Correct for this time period) and some Bakelite "Wall hugger" styled plugs and bring them back to original glory if desired. The bulbs I believe to be original or, at least period. They do work well but, I'd limit their use seeing they are 70 years old if not older. A fine pair of 1920's Boudoir lamps with a wonderful patina! Thank you again, Trilco Antiques.
