Description: I found these two cloth rag dolls in an old basket with stuffed animal pillows from an old farmhouse I cleaned out. They immediately struck my eye. They are both dressed in 1920-30 style clothing original for that period. The first is of a lady almost 16" long. She has a fancy hat with colored ribbon bows. Her blouse is made with about 5 different colors of pink material. She has a flower corsage, which is a little bit ragged now. Her skirt is dark red, with a ruffle around the waist and ruffled pleats along the bottom. There are several tiny holes on the front of the skirt. Her belt is gray plaid, and she has an off-white petticoat. She has no shoes. The man is 14" long. He has an aqua and gray hat, a gray shirt, mauve vest, with a salmon colored ascot. His pants are burgundy with a tan belt. Both faces are hand sewn. Dark thread is used for the eyes and brows, and tan thread is used for the mouth.
