Pair: Antique English Gilt Porcelain Shaped Bowls 19thC
Description: Pair: Antique English Gilt Porcelain Lozenge Shaped Dishes/Bowls, Early-Mid 19th C. England. The surface of the oval/lozenge shaped bowls are enriched in gilt with floral/leaf pattern bands within a gray band border. The dishes are not signed or marked. Dimensions: Each: 11-1/4" Long, 7-1/4" & 7-1/2" Wide, 1-3/4" Deep. Total Weight: 2.6lbs. (42oz.) Condition: There is some rubbing/wear to the gilding along the surface and edges of each piece. The surface of one dish is crazed with some light darkening/staining to the surface. There is a small surface chip to the base rim of this dish (measuring 1/4" long). There is some light surface scratching/wear to the surface of each dish. Otherwise, the pieces are in good condition.
