Probably France. The front of each cachepot is decorated with different transfer printed scenes of two figures in 18th C. dress standing between hand painted/enameled sap green trees/bushes on a light blue ground. The top and base rims are heightened with black and gold bands. The base of each piece features a small draining hole. The pieces are not visibly signed or marked. Dimensions: Each: 6-3/4" High, 7" Diameter. Total Weight: 4.12lbs. Condition: The entire base of one planter has been broken-off (about 1-1/2" up from the base) and repaired/re-glued (there are some small surface chips/flakes and glue residue along the edges of the crack). There is some scratching/dirt/wear/staining to the surface along the interior of each piece (due to use as a planter). There is a small hairline crack along the side of one planter measuring 1-1/2" long. There is some light scratching/wear to the transfer printed, gilt and enameled pattern along the surface and edges of each piece. Otherwise, the pieces are in fair condition.
