Description: These unmarked American coin silver salt and pepper shakers, most likely New York or Philadelphia, measure 6 1/4" high, 1 5/8" in diameter at the base, and approximately 2 1/8" in diameter at their broadest point. They are in very good condition, with evidence of being well used. There is some slight crimping on the base of one, and some bruising on the repousse, otherwise fine. American manufacture, c. 1850.
