Description: Additional photos available. Large Italian/French carved wooden mirror with painted roses in three shades depicts mounted horsemen along with their hunting dogs on the header beneath a gilt carved oyster shell topper. Deep blue in color with raised high and lows, wide panels resembling gesso. Deep gold panels either side depict more floral. Gilt with tiny bits of the red showing beneath as trim accent. Unique shape with replacement mirror of some years ago in excellent condition. Very slight wear to the painted background in tiny areas,otherwise in excellent condition. The wood backing has a double wire attached for hanging. Handsome piece. Measures 44H X 27.25L X 1D.
