Description: The artist, Bob Thomas, is a native of Arlington, Virginia. With an eye for the lighter, brighter side of life, Bob calls his sculptures whimsies. They are whatever you imagine them to be. Each one of a kind piece is made of everyday items that would ordinarily be thrown away. This one stands 7.5" tall with a blue and green color scheme of various shapes in wood and metal, a tiny eight ball in the middle on an old spool of green thread, all topped off with a plastic pelican. Bob's work is signed Chine (pronounced Sheen), a nickname given to him by Fraternity brothers at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
