Description: We are pleased to offer a quite ancient scribe's case from the Ottoman Empire. It, as indicated in the pictures, has seen some wear and it is not pristine although it is integral and all parts are there and attached. As shown in the photos there are a few pums. The top of the ink appears to have been attached with lead solder and this may well be original. It is not a recent copy and is a genuine antique.
