Description: You may look forever and a day to find an equal to this bathing suit. This ladies c.19th century bathing suit recently came from one of the finest vintage clothing collections in the world which we purchased. It is made of muslin cotton and is a striking, and very uncommon scarlet red. The suit has the removable skirt with all the original buttons intact. There are no known repairs or incurable damage. In all honesty the suit looks as it was over 125 years ago when it was the eye candy of it's time. Back in the 1980's the suit was loaned for several fashion magazines and modeled on many occasion.
