In 1970, Bulova produced the first mens calendar wristwatch to be powered by the quartz crystal. Designed in 18 karat gold, it retailed for $1,325! And, in 1976, Bulova finally introduced an entire line of mens Accuquartz watches for sale to the public.
Here we have one of the original Bulova Accuquartz Watches. It is encased in handsome 14k gold and bears number T704512 on the reserve side of the watch. The face is approximately 1-1/2 square and, besides being in MINT condition, has a wonderful retro look.
It does not have the original band; however, a unique brown and black leather watchband has been substituted. What a truly wonderful gift this would make for the man who has not only an exquisite sense of style, but who also embraces the history of evolving technology. Or, if you are a collector of fine watches, dont pass this one by -- it is such an exquisite example of Bulova technology and history.
