A charming, colorful and picturesque landscape and village scene in Spain. A row of colttages, each with a red roof and multi-colored stone masonry brick walls, sits on the bank of a small river, surrounded by forest. An arched bridge over the river appears to be the entry road into the quaint village. The sky is disturbed and full of clouds, seeming to tell of an impending storm.
This is a large painting, 55 inches wide by 31 inches high that would be spectacular over a living room couch. It is signed at lower right by the artist, 'K. Stacy', and is in excellent condition. The frame is of dark-stained solid wood that is ridged, with a thin canvas inner border. The frame has some minor blemishes due to age.
