Description: ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING OF A STREETSCAPE IN FRANCE

Signed in orange at the lower left by the well-known and listed French artist Bernard Dufour (b. Paris 1922), this charming oil painting on canvas depicts an outdoor cafe with umbrellas on a promenade in Nice, France. People stroll along the promenade, with buildings and palm trees in the background. The collector from whom we purchased this attractive painting commented that he bought it on a visit to Europe and France in the late 1960's. The painting's overall dimensions are 21" by 17.25", and it has a gilt-wood frame and cloth mat which complement the painting. Condition is excellent.
