Description: AN ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING OF ABSTRACT WARRIORS

A bright, fascinating original oil painting of what appear to be three warriors in brilliantly colored ancient costumes on a white background, marching off into distant battle. They carry what appear to be swords and additional gear. The cubist roots of this painting can be seen in the abstract expressionist style of the figures, and the color palette is beautifully coordinated.

Condition is excellent, and this painting is stretched and unframed. The artist has signed this work, 'S. Marchetti', at the upper right, just above the right arm of the figure at the extreme right. This painting was done circa the 1990's.
