AN ORIGINAL SIGNED PORTRAIT PAINTING OF CHOU CHOUA magnificent portrait painting of the dog Chou Chou, done in oils on canvas. This painting was created as a loving gift for the artist's wife and son in the 1970's, and is signed and dedicated to them at the lower left (see photos), 'James Mastin, for Aron Green and Leora'. The painting is done in the American Impressionism style, retaining the features of the subject to a much greater extent than the European Impressionism artists. The canine is shown sitting in a field of flowers. The artist, James Mastin, is listed and world-renowned. Dimensions are 20" high by 16" wide, and the condition is excellent. The canvas is stretched and unframed.
