Description: AN ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING OF A PARIS STREETSCAPE WITH EIFFEL TOWER

A colorful and finely composed original oil painting of a Paris streetscape in the summer. Pedestrians stroll down the cobblestone street, and a flowering tree blossoms on the sidewalk. Flower planters also line the walkway. The viewer's eye is led along the perspective of the buildings toward the Eiffel Tower, which appears in the central distance. The painting is done primarily in palette knife brushstrokes to give a neo-impressionistic appearance to the work of art. The artist's signature appears at the lower right, 'Travis'. It was done circa the third quarter of the 20th century. Dimensions are 30.5" wide by 27.1" high, and the piece is in excellent condition. It is framed as shown in the photo.
