Perspective and composition of these paintings is superb, drawing the viewer directly into the scenery. This well-executed pair of paintings is in excellent condition, and each is bordered by a carved and decorated gilt hardwood frame of the period. Each painting shows a different view of the same mountains from the vantage point of the artist, who has signed these paintings at the lower right, 'Monika'?. Dimensions are 29.5" by 17.5" overall, and both paintings are in excellent condition.
