Illustrations come from collection of W.T. Walters. Although dated, this is an important reference for Qing ceramics, and valuable translations of passages from Chinese texts. Hardcover: Blue cloth binding with title on cover and spine impressed in gold. Nice tight binding; cover, spine, and pages clean and intact. Gently used and neatly stored. Sun fading along top of hard cover. Solid color endpapers (dark beige) are spotless. The inside contents are very good, with exquisite custom illustrations. Photo illustrated dust jacket is worn with some fraying at top, five minor tears to edge 1.0 inches or less along the front spine repaired with tape, wear to edges.
