Description: Tiki mug collectors know and love the vintage Orchids of Hawaii brand name. This tiki mug is unusual because it show a scantily dressed Hawaiian maden instead of a scarie tiki figure. The long brown haired and well endowled hula girl with flowers in her hair is framed in the middle of the glass much like the window of a grass hut. The glass has raised lines down the sides ending with a diamond pattern on the bottom. The base has Orchids of Hawaii Japan R-79. I believe this indicates the year. The condition is good with no chips or cracks, but does have overall age crazing. Since we have several of these glasses there are slight variations in the hand painting and manafacturing details, your mug may be simailar but not identical to the one shown.
