Description: "One of a Kind", Folk Art Animated Toy This animated composition was made in the 1930s. The toy is made in two levels. The working parts which include the wooden turn and gears are built within the bottom level of this piece and the "hand carved" and "hand painted" figures are on the top level. When the mechanism is turned by hand the wooden gears turn the dog figure around, the cowboy's arms come up lifting his riding crop and the horse rears up on his hind legs. It is very unique and "one of a kind" completely conceived and made by hand. Markings: None; Condition: Pristine
