OMEGA SPEEDMASTER SPEEDY 125 AUTOMATIC CHRONOMETER EXTRA LINKED DEPLOYMENT Caliber 1041 C:1973. Extremely rare and desirable. New/old stock discovered in a jewelers inventory, unsold. 43mm in diameter without the crown, by 53mm in length, by 16mm thick. The first officially certified automatic chronometer chronograph produced in series in the world. This model, produced in 2000 pieces, was created to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the company's creation (explaining the mirror-polished 125 applies on the black oxidized dial). Luminous printed baguette hour markers, minuet circle with strokes to the 1/5th of a second and with 5-60 markings, date window at 3 o'clock, 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock, continous small seconds and 24-hour indicator at 9 o'clock, white tritium baton hands, centre 60-minute and chronograph seconds hands. Calibre 1041, built in Lemania by Raoul-Henri Erard, fixed into a calotte secured by an O-ring gasket in the case middle. Sturdy barrel-shapped case in steel water-resistant to 60 metres, tempered mineral crystal with a metallised tachymetric scale (telemetric, pulsometric or decimal scales also available), start-stop pusher at 2 o'clock, reset pusher at 4 o'clock, screwed case back with a stamped Speedmaster medallion, integrated bracelet. CASE AND BRACELET: Full length original factory bracelet, encluded are 6 extra links for applying on top of the flight jacket. All factory new and original. Watch head presents original polished and satin finished surfaces. Mint sapphire crystal. Dial is absolutely fade free.
