Description: OMEGA SEADMASTER AUTOMATIC DATE 24 HOURS "JEDI" CHAMPANGE DIAL GOLD PLAQUE CUSHION Caliber 1040 C: 1972. FIne and rare in this superb condition. Unique design; incorporating a massive cushion case with gold plaque case. The overall condition is quite remarkable. This watch is all original with very bright color. The appearance presents a massive gold and champange dial. This style is quite unique to the early 1970s and has become increasingly desirable among the Omega collecting community. Placed on a cordovan crocodile style 20mm leather strap, this watch is very handsome and appears to be a style that would compete very well with todays Omega attempts at style. Clean, running and especially collectible. Seldom, if ever seen in this like new condition. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.

DIAL: All surfaces original with bright color and free of distraction. 24 Hour register, Jedi sweep minute indicater hand (the end of this hand looks like a jet aircraft), Blue night 24 hour indicattion ring, Date window, signed: "OMEGA/ Automatic/ Seamaster". Original mint dial with white gasket ring.

MOVEMENT: 3/4 Plate rose, pendent set, and quick set date, Caliber "1040", "OMEGA, Swiss", "Twenty Two (22) Jewels", #34,686,559. Bright color, fully funcitional, free of distraction. Very nice.

CASE: Screw back stainless case with a very heavy gold plate (Plaque) case. The condition of all surfaces are like new, but old original stock. Massive cushion design, unique to this period. The case back displays the Omega Seahorse clearly. Mint original gold plaque Omega case!
