Description: OMEGA SEAMASTER CALENDAR SWEEP SECONDS MODEL BUMPER AUTOMATIC BOMBAY JUBILIEE GOLDEN EGG SHELL C: 1952 Cal. 353. This rare Omega high grade pre-dates the constellation series. Produced in late 1951 and first introduced in 1952. This early Omega Seamaster features the Calendar located at 6 o'clock. However, more impressive is the condition of the original two-tone Omega Bombay Golden Egg Shell case and Deployment Logo Jubiliee Bracelet. The automatic system on this original watch is a so called: "Bumper" or "Hammer" automatic system which rotates 30 degrees to assist the winding. Latter automatic systems (1956 and after) used a 360 Degree rotation of the inner platform to assist winding the watch. This scarce early high grade also still has the original Omega logo crown. This unique model is especially desirable and collectible. Clean, running, and very impressive. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Professionally restored to it's original condition, silver satin surfaces signed: " OMEGA/ Auotmatic", and "Seamaster/ CALENDAR" at the bottom over the calendar window. Very nice.
MOVEMENT: Rose color, 3/4 plate, pendent set, all in excellent condition and completely original. Signed: "Seventeen 17 Jewels/ OMEGA Watch Co", #13,013,084. Excellent condition and original to the case.
CASE: Stainless screw back with a gold filled layer on the Bombay Style Lug design and plain polished bezel. Gold Filled Jubiliee full length deployment Logo Bracelet. All in excellent original condition. Very nice.
