Description: OMEGA 18k GOLD HAMMER AUTOMATIC SUB. SECONDS GRASSHOPPER LUG DESIGN 35mm Caliber 342 Circa: 1951. Elegant in design, featuring a unique commonly called "Grasshopper" lug design. This Omega watch movement is the early commonly refered to as the "Bumper" or "Hammer" automatic system. This movement allows rotation back and forth within 30 degrees; latter systems allowed 360 degree rotation. This watch comes with the original Omega Logo Buckle. Especially collectible. Clean, running and is a very nice early automatic. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.

DIAL: Silver satin surface with all applied gold teardrop figures and very odd and unique applied figures at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock. Professionally restored to it's original beauty.

MOVEMENT: Rose 3/4 plate rose, pendent set, Caliber "342", Hammer automatic system, "Seventeen (17) Jewels", "Omega Watch Co., Swiss", #12,850,339. Excellent with bright color and free of distraction. Original to the case.

CASE: Snap back solid 18k yellow gold with unique grasshopper lug design. Nice.
