Description: Beautifully painted scene of a wealthy couple in a balcony booth at a theatrical performance. I do not know the age on this oil on canvas, but judging from the canvas, it is quite old. The name of the artist is signed bottom right. Bellet or Bellit? It is hard to read so it was not possible for me to research. Exquisitely framed, it measures approx. 36" h x 30" w. The frame is wood and the item is quite heavy, so shipping will be calculated with insurance at time of sale.
