Description: This oil painting on canvas depicts a Seventeenth Century cavalier with his flintlock rifle and hunting hounds, reminiscent of the period of the English Restauration. The painting, which is in excellent condition apprears to have been relined recently. The sight size of the painting is: 11 1/2" x 23 1/2", while the measurements of the elegant, gilt frame are: 20 1/2 x 32 1/2". The painting is unsigned, excellent condition. The frame sshows some very minor wear.
