Description: This is a very nice group lot of 5 Hummel Style Boys. Lot consists of: (1) Tall Alpine Boy with Umbrella, measures 5.5"H; (1) Alpine Boy with Green Hat and Umbrella, measures 4.25"H; (1) Shepard Boy, measures 4"H, tiny flake on back of cap; (1) Policeman with Dog, measures 4.5"H; (1) Little Boy with Horse, measures 3.5"H (this one is interesting, it has the original sale price of .25cents). All are in very good condition, except as noted on the Shepard. Produced during the occupation of Japan by United States forces from the end of WWII in 1945 to the end of the occupation in 1952. They are identified by an import mark Made in Occupied Japan or Occupied Japan. Thousands of ceramic figurines copying European styles can be found with these marks.
