Description:
This is a pretty rose themed cup and saucer with matching plate or teacup trio made in Occupied Japan by the Fuji China company in the pattern Rosette. The trio was made between 1940-1950s. The plate is marked Occupied Japan and the cup and saucer are marked Japan. Because some of the other parts of the dinner set we acquired from an estate were marked Occupied Japan but some were not, but all are the same name and pattern I assume this was a transitional set and made either just before the war with the set completed during occupation, or made during the occupation but the dish set finished when the mark had changed back to Japan after the occupation. Occupied Japan marks were used from 1945-1952. Anyway, all the pieces are in excellent condition with virtually no wear. Very pretty. Shipping in the US via USPS Priority Insured.
