Description: Wonderful unique solid quartered oak Victorian revolving bookcase with round shape and carving on the sides. This is made with two "drums" around a center post each of which turns independently of the other. The unit sits on a heavy carved base. This bookcase is signed "A. H. Davenport, Boston. New York." We have had a few pieces made by this company and they are always of the best quality. Notice even the castors on the bottom are extra fine quality. This is one of the best oak revolving bookcases we have ever offered for sale! We have never seen this model before. There are a couple of seam splits in the top.
