Description: This Mission or Arts and Crafts style barrister bookcase was made by the Globe Wernicke Company. Such bookcases were originally designed for lawyers to store the reference books, hence the name barrister bookcase. This bookcase is comprised of 5 separate pieces for ease in transporting. One stack has inside height measurement of 13" and the other 2 are 11" high. The bookcase retains its original finish, which is in excellent condition. The glass is all original and the doors open and close smoothly.
