Description: Fabulous carved oak wall clock made by Seth Thomas. It has a double spring movement signed "ST" that is attached to the back board. There is a small part of the back board that is missing (see photo). Like the rest of the case, the face is made of quartered oak. It has applied brass Roman numerals on the face and beading around the face. The very top has a flower with open mouthed birds on either side. There is a necklace around the middle portion of the top and wings on either side of the face. If you look closely, you will see that the intricately open carved base has the legs of the bird holding a cluster of grapes. A unique clock in a beautiful case!
