Description:
Here is a solid, quartersawn oak, adjustable office chair made by the Colonial Chair Co. in Chicago Ill about 1905. I have completely refurbished and refinished this chair and it is excellent condition. The tension adjustment spring is in super condition and the casters have been replaced with 2" diameter ball bearing casters. Everything works perfectly on this chair. You can adjust the tension for leaning back in the chair and you can also adjust the height of the chair. The rotating and adjusting mechanism is made of heavy cast iron and is very tight ( there is no wobble) in this chair. The adjusting knob bears the maker "Colonial Chair Co" . This is a quality office chair !!
