Description: Intricately carved oak pedestal made by Karpen, Chicago. The top has an intricately carved edge. It is held up by a full figured semi nude man with a cloth around his waist. The platform is fluted and carved and is supported by three claw feet. This is one of the better pedestals of this type we have had. They are unusual in oak!
