Description: Solid quartersawn oak throughout is what it takes to support the weight of beveled plate glass in each window and door. The Shell and Drape and Ribbon motif is carried through the top arched splash and on the face of both drawers. The alcove ends in an oval mirror and has a shelf above supported by half columns. Each foot ends with a beaded brass cap. There are two shelves in the center section and three in each of the side cases. We had to augment the original shelf support system with additional brass supports. The shelves are still adjustable to your needs and each one has a plate groove. Door hardware is original brass embossed with a design and a ring pull. Key included. A well engineered piece that offers lots of support to the frame with the use of eight legs. Very fine details in a simple design determine quality in this piece.
