Description: This quarter sawn oak bookcase was made by Gunn Manufacturing Company. The bookcase is comprised of 7 separate pieces. These are often referred to as barrister bookcases and were originally designed for lawyers to store their reference books. Three of the stacks measure 11" tall and two measure 13" tall. All have their original glass and brass knobs. The glass doors lift up and slide back for easy access. All the doors work smoothly. The finish appears original and is in excellent condition. One stack has a very small sliver of wood missing on the front, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection.
