Written during eight years travel amongst the wildest tribes of Indians in North America 1832-1839.This incredible set has 320 color illustrations carefully engraved from the author’s original paintings. In red hard boards with gold gilt stamping, the first glance is breathtaking! Vol 1 has 298 pages & a pull out map. Volume 2 has 303 pages the spines are also incredibly decorated & the condition is very good. The corners are bumped, naturally & all the pages are clean & tight. They measure 10 ¼” x 7” x2”.
