Description:
Nineteenth century French Dore bronze and red marble presentation clock probably unique in its execution. The bronze female, holding putti in each arm, with central square red marble dial with gilded applied numerals above an ornate tapered pedestal base, atop its red marble platform. All mechanics original and in perfect working order, with the Parisian gold medal seal. This piece is about as ornate as you can get, was probably used as a presentation piece by Marti or one of his competitors in Paris at an exhibition. Dimensions: 23.5" in height, 8.5" in length, 6.5" in depth.
