Description: This is a beautiful natural graduated coral bead necklace from the 1920s from an estate in the San Francisco Bay Area. The necklace was given to her as a child in the 1920s. Coral was traditionally considered a suitable semi precious stone for children. The necklace measures 16 inches long and has an old style gold filled roll clasp. The silk that the necklace was originally strung on disintegrated and it was restrung in the 1970s on tiger tail with sterling silver crimps. The color is an excellent, deep coral color. The beads graduate from 7mm to 4mm. A lovely vintage item.
