Welcome! This is an original mid-1800s colored engraving lithograph by Nathaniel Currier prior to his partnership with Ives. It features an oval devotional portrait image of a little boy and is titled underneath "The Morning Prayer". Beneath is the subtitle "Defend Us From All Evil Throughout This Day". Underneath that is the credit "Pub. by N. Currier 2 Spruce St. N.Y.". Underneath the oval at the bottom right it says "N. Currier's Lith. N.Y." and at the bottom left of the oval it says "W.K. H. on Stone".

This lithograph measures 9 inches wide by 11 3/4 inches long. This lithograph has browned and toned margins, soft and raggedy edges with a couple of small tears at the right edge, tape marks on the upper margin, toning, browning and tape marks on the back. However, the image is intact with good color and is a great piece of Americana lithography by one of the masters, Nathaniel Currier. Buy it now.
