Description: Interesting 8 x 10 old photograph of a horse that apparently killed it's new owner from Pittsburg according to the inscription on the verso. The inscriptin states that H.H.Lord paid $600.00 dollars for this Horse which he never warmed up to. The horse threw him off his saddle and he died 10 days later. You know six hundred dollars in the year 1907 was a bundle of money. And way too much to be killed over.
