Description: The fluid dark green glass of this artistically formed Italian bowl is infused with aventurine, gold flecks that appear deeper or lighter depending on the angle of view. Deeper stripes of gold swirl from the center out to the edges. This is a magnificent, heavy piece, weighing over 5 pounds. It has the typical flat bottom and is unsigned but is believed to be by Barovier, Seguso or Barbini. Stunning craftsmanship, a treasure in glass that doesn't come around very often!
