Description: This Murano art glass bowl was made with an open edge design in clear glass with a 2 tone pink center. Exquisitely detailed and shaped with the ends of the glass twisted to form circles, it has it's original label that is marked: Murano/Made in Italy.
Murano is an island lying on the edge of the Adriatic Sea in the lagoon of Venice. In the 100 years between 1860 and 1960 the glass producing firms located on Murano rose to world leadership in the production of decorative glass objects.
In very good + condition it measures 3 3/4 inches high, 11 1/4 inches long and 11 inches wide. Makes a beautiful showing on any table and an addition to any Murano Glass Collection.
