Description: A really superb Victorian English brass blotter dating to around 1890, impressive in quality, size and style. The top of the blotter including the handle is cast brass with a grape and vine leaf design. The plate at the bottom can be slid out to wrap the blotting paper around and then it's ready for action to absorb that excess ink; alternatively, it can sit on the desk and just look fabulous! Excellent condition measuring 6 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 4" tall to top of handle. Worldwide insured airmail included.
