The solid, cast-brass cases are screwed together, rather than soldered or welded, and the finish is a beautifully distressed brass with a charming patina.
All of the hinged, heavy bezels are solid cast-brass with beveled glass.
The dials are enamel.
The mechanical movements are all German made.
Eight-day, time and strike on two brass bells.
The Salome is an exceptionally unusual example of Art-Nouveau styling.
Perhaps the most impressive quality of these pieces is the level of detail in the complete finish.
The back, as well as the front, of the clock is finished with detail and florid design.
The rear doors have red-upholstered grillwork.
