MOVADO 18k MINUTE REPEATER FANCY OPEN FACE CASE 50mm Circa: 1910. Rare and fine. Early Movado minute repeater cased in 18k gold. Grand Prix Exposition in 1910 featured this watch. All nickel high grade 18 jewel minute repeating movement. The white porcelain dial is mint with original hands, and the case is very fancy and in excellent condition. The repeating sound is bold and pronounced. Especially rare and collectible. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Mint white porcelain single sunken with the original gold spade hands. Bold arabic figures.
MOVEMENT: All nickel, push button activation minute repeating, pendent set, "18 Jewels", three finger nickel bridge. All original to the case and dial. Truly excellent condition, free of any distraction.
CASE: Double hinged back and bezel, solid 18k deep yellow gold. Inside lid marked: ".750 and 18k". Image shows the Grand Prix Exposition presentation on the dust cover. Very nice. The back is heavily engraved and presents a blank shield, still suitable for a new owners initials.
