Description:
This delightful collection of Bear & Me figurines was created by Anne Marie Leopold of Holland, and produced by Colour Box Miniatures. The originals were modeled in clay, and then produced in a resin-type substance and hand painted. The end result looks very clay-like, as if each bear was individually modeled.
Each of these wonderfully unique figures tells a story. I have a tag/booklet for one of the bears, which tells "The Legend of the Bear and Me". It reads, "In the Bear Kingdom the Big Bear is a wise and respected elder. He is the one the others turn to with their problems and their worries. However, he is mostly sought out for his wonderful story telling. All the bears gather round and listen quietly as he tells his interesting, funny but wise stories.
Each bear is special and has a unique place in the Bear Kingdom, be it Big or Small Bear."
To clean this item, please dust using a dry cloth or brush.
The bears come in seven different sizes, so please look at the measurements.This is considered a small size bear in the series. Made in Scotland, copyrighted 1995. This group was purchased in the U.K. in the late 1990's.
