Description: Vintage little fruit knife, stainless steel blade with mother of pearl handle. Comes with its original leather sheaf for the blade. Blade is stamped on one side “Made in England” and “By Appointment to the Late King George V”. “Viners Ltd, Sheffield”. This would date it to the period after 1936 - probably 1940s. One carried these little knives to eat a piece of fruit when out walking etc. Knife measures 11 cm long (4.1/4 inches). Excellent condition.
